The minister noted in the post that a total of 18,644 companies have applied as service providers, while 1,407 applications have been received as partners to the programme. He explained that the programme is a critical component of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu, asserting that it was targeted at building Nigeria’s technical talent backbone for a digital Nigeria.

He said the programme which was planned for four years would run in phases, noting that the first phase would accommodate 30,000 Nigerians, the second phase 300,000, while the entire 3 million would be completed in the third phase.
